Keno is a gorgeous boy who I got from PinOaks Kennels in Missouri. He comes from a long line of Champions. I have always wanted another Borzoi since I grew up with one as a child.
Keno is an avid swimmer. He loves the water, not so graceful in the water as on land but beautiful none the less! Keno is a great dog, he is very friendly to all new comers to the house. He has been very successful in highjump, he has cleared about 5ft jumps and does so with ease. I think as he becomes more confident he will only jump higher! He is slowly coming into his own, I am just enjoying having him around. We will be doing more conformation shows come the fall now that he is more balanced and he understands how to move too. He floats on air it seems. Love this boy!!
Keno and I did our first Superdog shows at the CNE (aka the Ex!) this past August. We spent a week in Toronto entertaining thousands of people at the shows. He is getting even more confident with his jumping and just recently cleared 12 bars!! which is about even with my eyes and I am 5ft 8inches tall!! His favorite part of the show is the Pat and Chat. He loves standing on the podium and being patted and oogled over. He drags me to the podium and then just stands there! I love this about him. He is such a people dog. Which is wonderful for the breed!
